1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws of British Columbia and Canada.
2. Services Provided
Metro Van Motors provides automotive diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and performance services. All information on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding quote or contract.
3. Estimates and Authorization
Estimates are based on initial inspection and may change if additional issues are found.
No work exceeding the approved estimate will be performed without customer authorization.
Approval of an estimate authorizes Metro Van Motors to proceed with repairs.
4. Diagnostic Fees
Diagnostic time is billable regardless of whether repairs are completed. Additional diagnostic time may be required for complex issues.
5. Pricing and Payment
All prices are in CAD and subject to applicable taxes.
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Vehicles may be retained until full payment is received.
6. Repairer’s Lien
Metro Van Motors reserves the right to retain possession of a vehicle until all charges are paid, in accordance with the Repairers Lien Act of British Columbia.
7. Warranty Policy
Warranty details will be provided at the time of service. Warranty does not cover:
Misuse, neglect, or abuse
Unauthorized repairs or modifications
Performance or racing use
Normal wear and tear
Customer-supplied parts
8. Customer-Supplied Parts
Installation of customer-supplied parts is at the customer’s risk. No warranty is provided on such parts or related labor unless stated otherwise.
9. Performance Modifications
Performance upgrades and tuning may affect reliability, emissions compliance, and component lifespan. Customers assume all risks associated with modified vehicles.
10. Storage and Abandoned Vehicles
Vehicles must be picked up within 3 business days of completion unless otherwise arranged. Storage fees may apply after this period. Unclaimed vehicles may be treated as abandoned in accordance with BC law.
11. Delays
Metro Van Motors is not responsible for delays due to parts availability, supplier issues, or unforeseen mechanical problems.
12. Limitation of Liability
Metro Van Motors is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of vehicle use or inconvenience.
13. Website Use
You agree not to use this website for unlawful purposes or attempt to interfere with its operation.
14. Intellectual Property
All website content, including logos and text, is the property of Metro Van Motors and may not be used without permission.
15. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada.
